# Welcome to Motivati
## Motivati offers more than just software – it provides a specialized leadership tool that facilitates planned dialogues between leaders and employees, with a focus on development conversations.
Drawing upon our deep knowledge in HR and leadership, we provide valuable guidance to leaders on leveraging Motivati to enhance employee and leadership development in a clear and accessible manner.
### Development conversation
Development conversations are often perceived as ineffective, irrelevant, and even demotivating. This is mainly because they lack individualization and personalization. However, we have discovered a solution that significantly enhances their value. It gives managers unique insight into what each employee needs in order to thrive and perform in their role.
With Motivati, you can conduct development conversations that are specifically tailored to each employee, regardless of their role. Prior to the conversation, the employee spend just 15 minutes completing a survey. This survey generates a motivation analysis that reveals the employee's priorities and perceptions of 8 key motivational factors in the workplace.
By utilizing this analysis, both the leader and employee gain clarity on what areas the conversation should address. This approach also helps managers to empower and develop the employees to:
- Better understand their role and responsibilities.
- Take ownership of their work.
- Deliver tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Thrive so that they can contribute positively to the working environment.
Furthermore, Motivati provides support for follow-up and documentation through various functions in the system.
