Competence is often a topic during the development conversation. It is a platform to discuss the employee's existing skills, the essential competence required for their work tasks, and the competence they wish to develop or improve.
Competence at the individual level
To assess the skills of individual employees, navigate to the "my employees" menu. This menu offers a detailed look at your departments and staff. Simply select the employee you are interested in and move to the "competence" tab for a detailed view of their abilities.
Register new competence
- Click «Add competence»
- Select category and skills
- Select type; is it a course, certificate, an education ect.
- Register date - This is used if the competence has an expiration date (eg certificate / authorization)
- Register the today level and the desired level - Preferably in collaboration with the employee
- Publish attachments if needed, ex. Certificate
Remember! If there are no options in the category/skills list, you can contact the person who is the administrator of your company or read how here.
See/edit competence
- Click on the competence you want to see/edit
- Inside you can edit and delete the competence
Search and get an overview of all competence
- Click "Overview competence" in the menu on the left.
Tip! For competence development: use the action plan to log activities needed to develop the competence.
